The Tanner Cottage

The Tanner Cottage is where Stewart Rygby lives. It is a wattle and daub box-frame cruck hall located north of town near the ancient tanning pits. It is a open hall cruck house.

When the Green Hills Series begins, Stewart's cottage is ~500 years old. It dates to the Tudor period, and until ten years ago, didn't have any indoor plumbing and only basic electric.
