Tanner Cottage
From The Green Hills Series

The Tanner Cottage is where Stewart Rygby lives. It is a wattle and daub box-frame cruck hall located north of town near the ancient tanning pits. It is a open hall cruck house.
When the Green Hills Series begins, Stewart's cottage is ~500 years old. It dates to the Tudor period, and until ten years ago, didn't have any indoor plumbing and only basic electric.

When Maelog went to jail, Stewart spent the next five years making repairs to the cottage that had long been neglected. His greatest desire, however, was to install indoor plumbing. After his mother's accident, he pushes to make indoor plumbing a priority.
