On the Wey Navigation, north of Guildford, Triggs Lock formerly saw some barge traffic between the Thames and Guildford. The navigation was connected to the Arun in Sussex via the Wey & Arun Canal which is now being slowly renovated. Today, Triggs Lock mainly sees recreational narrow boats pass by - and ramblers.
